📌 What You’ll Learn in This Article
A Sarukuma writer visits “Infornodoro” in Dairinji, Kikuchi City, and shares the full experience. Price range: from 1,000 yen. Includes family-friendly tips, access, and opening hours.

Hello, fellow travelers!
The autumn appetite is unstoppable!!
This is Nanako, your Sarukuma writer.

Today I’m introducing
“Napoli Pizza Laboratory Infornodoro,”
located in Dairinji, Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants!

I often drive all the way to Kikuchi just to eat their pizza.
It’s that incredibly delicious!!!!!

True to its name “Napoli Pizza Laboratory,” this restaurant serves authentic, mouth-watering Neapolitan pizza.

This place is incredibly popular — on weekdays, people often line up for lunch.
Especially during weekday lunch hours, we recommend making a reservation by phone before visiting.

The restaurant is in Kikuchi City,
close to “Tokowaka” and “Reymo”, which we’ve featured on Sarukuma before.

Tokowaka — A Lovely Bakery & Sweets Shop Perfect for Lunch and Snacks (Nishitera, Kikuchi City)

Bread Bakery ReyMo — The #1 Black Tea & Apple Bread Was Absolutely Amazing (Nishitera, Kikuchi City)

There’s a Nishimatsuya (baby goods store) right next door, so you can do some shopping along the way.

As a parent traveling with kids, this makes me incredibly happy.

The restaurant has up to three parking lots, with a total of 66 parking spaces available.

Pretty impressive, right? ♪

Now, let’s open this charming door and step inside!

A terrace seating area and a wine cellar greet you.

The moment you step inside, you’ll feel like you’ve teleported from Kikuchi straight to Naples — that’s how authentic the atmosphere is! ♪

That round yellow structure you can see at the back of the kitchen? That’s the pizza oven.

All their pizzas are baked in this traditional wood-fired oven.

Look closely under those stylish plates — there are even autographs from famous celebrities!

And over here, lots of paintings.

The bay windows are also decorated with all kinds of charming items —
just looking around the restaurant is genuinely fun.

Inside the shop, they also sell Italian ingredients like pasta.

The porcini broth and white truffle broth caught my eye —
so tempting!

Here’s something amazing — at this restaurant, you can place orders directly from your smartphone!
How innovative!!

So modern!

They have children’s chairs available, plus cushions for slightly older kids who might find children’s chairs a bit cramped.

Strollers are welcome inside too, so it’s truly perfect for families with young children!

Recommended Menu Highlights

Here’s the pizza menu.

So many delicious-sounding pizzas to choose from!

More pizza options! Every single one looks tempting.

By the way, their “Golden Margherita” ranks as the #1 best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my entire life.

And there’s still more!
Check out the blackboard menu on the wall.

The artwork is so distracting that I can hardly focus on what’s written,
but everything looks absolutely delicious…!

With such a wide variety of pizzas to choose from,
the excitement starts the moment you begin selecting!

When you order pizza,
you can add drinks and gelato at a special set price! ♪

This restaurant’s weekday lunches are extremely popular.
・Standard Lunch — 1,000 yen (+ drink)

・Gelato Lunch — 1,100 yen (+ drink + gelato)

・Salad Lunch — 1,100 yen (+ drink + salad)

・Pizza Lunch — 1,250 yen (+ dessert platter of the day + coffee)

・Queen’s Lunch — 1,500 yen (+ hors d’oeuvres + salad + dessert + coffee)

・King’s Lunch — 2,100 yen (+ hors d’oeuvres + salad + meat dish + dessert + coffee)

Every option above comes with a small (S size) pizza.

You can choose your pizza from 8 varieties.

And get this — for the King’s Lunch meat dish…

You can choose from all of these!!

This alone is the volume of a typical lunch main course.
What a fantastic deal!

Beyond beef, they also offer lamb and wild boar — meats you don’t often find elsewhere — which sound absolutely intriguing…!

Infornodoro doesn’t just serve pizza — they have a wide selection of meat dishes and appetizers too.

This menu absolutely tugs at the heart of any meat lover!

They even have items like this on the menu.
Wild boar sausage? That’s got to be amazing!

The “Heidi-man” item really catches my eye too.
And apparently, the owner hunts some of the game himself…

And on top of all that, here’s another reason this place is one of my favorites!

Their alcohol menu is incredible!!

Craft beers, Italian beers,
natural wines, and more…
My heart is dancing.

Surprisingly, they have over 80 additional kinds of alcohol not even listed on the printed menu.

Carefully curated drinks paired with carefully crafted pizza — perfect for celebrating anniversaries! ♪

On this particular day, it was a holiday and the regular lunch wasn’t being served.
So we ordered pizza with the Amore Set, which includes a drink and gelato! ♪

First, the drink.

Look at the size compared to a typical water glass!!

It’s already partially consumed (sorry about that…),
but the glass came filled to the brim.

An incredibly generous portion for a set drink!

And then, the main pizza arrived.

TA-DAA!!!!!!

Oguni Prosciutto (1,950 yen)!!

Loaded with prosciutto. Loaded with cheese.

The saltiness of the prosciutto, the wheat-fragrant crust,
cheese, and olive oil — absolutely divine!!!

The crumbly cheese hidden beneath the ham is simply irresistible.

This might just update my pizza ranking~~~~!!!!

Actually, it was already 3 PM — a late lunch.
Since we’d be having dinner later, my husband and I were planning to share just one pizza,
but it was so delicious that we ordered another one!

And here it is!!

Yes. Delicious. Absolutely delicious.
We have a winner~!!

Chef’s Whim Mix Pizza (1,650 yen).

Mozzarella cheese, eggplant, bell peppers,
onions, plus tomato sauce and plenty of bacon.

The moment you take a bite, your mouth is in heaven…
“Is this really only 1,650 yen?!” — that’s how mind-blowingly good it is.

Drizzle a little of the chili oil on the table,
and a wonderfully spicy umami flavor adds a whole new dimension to the taste.

The crowning finale was the gelato dessert.

This chocolate gelato is simply outstanding.
Not too sweet — a slightly grown-up flavor.

Eating it together with the persimmon garnish takes it to another level.

Ahh… everything was absolutely delicious. I felt so happy…

Next time, I’m definitely coming on a weekday to try the King’s Lunch!

Napoli Pizza Laboratory Infornodoro
This is a hidden gem absolutely worth the trip out to Kikuchi City!

It’s only about a 10-minute drive from “Kikuchi City Furusato Sosei Citizens’ Plaza,” which we’ve previously featured on Sarukuma.
We highly recommend combining a drive, some park play, and pizza for the perfect outing! ♪
