Introducing Minamitakae Kajimen Park

Today we’re spotlighting a hidden gem located in Minamitakae, Minami Ward, Kumamoto City:
[Minamitakae Kajimen Park].This is a cozy little park tucked right next to Hikari Eye Clinic.
Guru Guru Souko (a popular local store) is also within walking distance, so there’s plenty to enjoy in the area!
With Kojika Nursery and Wakakusa Kindergarten located right across the street, the park is especially beloved by local kids after school lets out.There’s a covered picnic bench too — we enjoyed a bento lunch here before heading to the open field for a game of catch.
A vending machine is conveniently located in plain sight from the park.
There’s also a drinking fountain.Heads up — the restroom is a traditional Japanese-style squat toilet.
