I really wanted to enjoy the Eminence pool — including the night pool — so we stayed at Aso Kumamoto Airport Hotel Eminence. Let me share our wonderful experience!

At Aso Kumamoto Airport Hotel Eminence, parking for hotel guests is separate from the pool-only parking — staff kindly directed us to the dedicated lot in front of the hotel.

The lobby has a clean, elegant white-themed atmosphere (^^)

There’s a convenient little shop right next to the front desk!

They stock snacks, instant cup noodles, and other handy travel essentials (^^)

Tucked into one corner of the first-floor lobby, you’ll discover a beautifully designed space.

500 yen per hour (normally available from a 2-hour minimum)

Why We Recommend Aso Kumamoto Airport Hotel Eminence

This time, we just wanted to enjoy the pool, so we booked a room-only (no meals) plan.

Here’s our room (*^.^*)
Traveling with the kids, we requested a traditional tatami-mat room rather than a Western-style bedroom — a wonderful chance to experience authentic Japanese accommodation!

Futon bedding was already laid out and ready for us.

The fridge was bigger than your typical hotel mini-fridge and even included a proper freezer compartment — a real lifesaver during the hot summer weather (^^)

There’s also a microwave on the second floor that guests are free to use!

Because of the on-site pool, the room came with a clothes-drying rack — something you don’t usually find in regular hotels (*^.^*)
It was incredibly handy for enjoying two full days of pool fun!

Since other guests were using the bath, we’ll share a brochure photo of the bathing facilities.

There’s also a private family bath available for reservation — perfect for shy travelers (*^o^)／＼(^-^*)

The hotel also offers day-trip onsen (hot spring) access, so you don’t even need to stay overnight to soak.

From the bath, you can enjoy a beautifully illuminated view of the Eminence pool at night!

Restaurant Fukufuku

Weekdays: 11:30 AM–2:30 PM / 5:00 PM–10:00 PM

Weekends & Holidays: 11:30 AM–3:00 PM / 5:00 PM–10:00 PM

The menu features one-plate set meals and udon noodles, but we were really intrigued by the authentic homemade curry crafted by their Sri Lankan staff member!

There’s a kids’ menu too, which is perfect for families (^-^)v

This time we focused on swimming pool fun and a relaxing overnight stay, but Aso Kumamoto Airport Hotel Eminence has so much more to offer — the possibilities really are endless.
