Today I’d like to introduce a shop located in Kamishiro, Nishi-ku, Kumamoto City:

This is a shop I’d been curious about for the looooongest time.
When you say “candy apple,” I just couldn’t shake the image of those old festival stall versions…

Even though I knew modern candy apples must taste better than the old festival kind,
I could kind of imagine what they’d taste like, so I’d never bothered buying one.

But as a Sarukuma writer, I live by the motto:
“You won’t know unless you try it!” So I gave it a go!

The result? My expectations were completely shattered—in the best way!
I even thought, “Hey, this might just become a regular treat for me!” lol
The shop sits along a main road in Kamishiro, Nishi-ku, Kumamoto City.
It’s on the same big street as Yumemart Shiroyama, so many of you have probably driven past it before♫

There’s parking, too!
Look for the Takahashi Inari Shrine sign and turn there.The shop is right there on your right.

My kids have been wanting to bite into whole apples lately,
so I grabbed one Whole and one Cup♫

I had to rush home to eat them within 30 minutes—lol
One bite and—shock!!

The apple itself is incredibly delicious!
And the juice came pouring out so much I almost choked. lol

The thin candy coating has a wonderfully crisp, satisfying snap!
It balances perfectly with the apple♫

And the milky tang of the yogurt powder topping? Absolutely amazing（●＾o＾●）“There’s dessert!” I told my daughter,
and her face lit up with joy!

She wanted to bite right into it,
but her front tooth is wobbly so we sliced it up instead(^_^;)
It cuts easily with a kitchen knife, which is great♫
Easy enough for kids to chew, perfect for a parent-child snack time♫

You can taste the apple, but the white chocolate sweetness comes through beautifully too!
The natural tartness and sweetness of the apple, the sweet candy coating, and the toppings all work together in perfect harmony.
The juice that bursts out with every bite and the satisfying texture are seriously addictive…!!

My husband, who normally doesn’t go out of his way for apples,
said “Whoa! This is good!”—as eloquent as ever, lol!If your idea of a candy apple is still stuck in the past,
