Today I’m excited to introduce you to a wonderful little spot in Shiroyama-Shimodai, Nishi Ward, Kumamoto City
[Twinkle Cafe & Food].
You’ll find it right next to Yume Mart Shiroyama on Prefectural Route 28.There’s parking space for 3 cars right in front of the cafe.
It can be a little tricky to spot, so look for the block with the cafe’s signboard as your landmark (^^)/Inside, you’ll find both table seating and counter seats.
Strollers are welcome, though some areas may be a bit tight to navigate when the cafe is busy.
Since seating is limited, I’d recommend making a reservation in advance for peace of mind ♫They provide children’s chairs and cups with straws ♫
The owner is a mother of two herself!
Those thoughtful little touches really make a difference!

I went for the Deluxe Plate Lunch, which comes with both a dessert and a drink ♪

Normally priced at 1,380 yen, but here’s the best part —

The day’s small side dish was chikuzen-ni (a traditional Japanese simmered chicken and vegetable dish).
A lovely Japanese touch on the plate!

You can enjoy plenty of vegetables too ♡
My son devoured his beloved karaage and gave us his “yummy!” pose~!! (clap clap)
The daily dessert that day was tiramisu ♫
Full but craving something sweet — this perfectly hit the spot!
And it was delicious (#^.^#)Can you guess what this is?
Kabosu & Yuzu Squash — a refreshing drink made with Japanese citrus fruits!
