I have to admit, I’m more of a winter person than a summer one, so the heat tends to get me down. But on hot days like these, I’ve discovered the perfect spot where you can slurp something cool and refreshing! (^^)v

It’s just a 2-3 minute walk from the Kengunmachi tram stop, making it incredibly convenient for travelers using Kumamoto’s iconic streetcar system.
The location right along the tram line is super handy! ♪
[Men Shusai Gono Yonju] has its own parking lot right next to the restaurant!
The parking is shared with the neighboring docomo Shop, so if it’s full, please use one of the nearby coin-operated parking lots.Before stepping inside, take a look at this…

Here’s what I ordered — the chilled udon with shrimp tempura!
Did you notice something special?The dashi broth is so beautifully clear and translucent!
And yet, it’s not bland at all — the umami of the dashi shines through. Truly mysterious and delightful…The noodles have a wonderful firm texture (koshi) with a smooth, silky slurp!
Exactly my style — absolutely delicious!And here’s the meat broth tsukemen set my friend ordered!
Look at that hearty portion — it looks amazing! ♪
The bright red color suggested it might be very spicy, but it turned out to be just pleasantly mild and tangy!
The broth clings beautifully to the noodles — udon-style tsukemen is a winner! (^○^)
