Today I’m introducing you to
“Steak Mania“,
located in Hikari no Mori, Kikuyo Town, Kikuchi District, Kumamoto Prefecture.The exterior has a chic, sleek look with black as the main color.
Very stylish!

Nearby, you’ll also find

There’s a big sign out front,
so use it as your landmark when you visit!

There’s also a spacious parking lot in front of and beside the restaurant — super convenient!

Inside, every seat is a regular table seat!

Steak Mania has four locations across Kumamoto, but until now, most of them have been stand-and-eat style.
The Hikari no Mori location is the only one with full table seating!!!

Strollers are welcome inside.

They’ll also bring out small plates for kids!

A really family-friendly spot for traveling parents — yay!!!

The classic lunch menu 🍽

From wallet-friendly options to a touch of luxury, there’s a wide range to choose from!

There’s a kids’ menu too ♪

If you can’t decide between steak and hamburg steak, no problem —

they offer combo meals as well!!

And here’s the kicker: during lunchtime (11:00–17:00),

you get free refills on rice, soup, and curry!!!

For just +150 yen, you can add the salad bar to your meal!

Lunch is definitely the best deal here.

This time, I ordered the Value Steak Lunch 225g (1,148 yen) with the salad bar add-on (+150 yen).

While waiting for the food, let’s enjoy the salad bar!!!

Such a great variety of vegetables!!!

And there’s dessert for after the meal too ♪

Behind the salad bar, you’ll find rice and curry too!

You can probably tell from the photo,

but the curry is quite mild and sweet! Perfect for kids 👌

Adults might find it a bit too tame (haha)

Don’t forget to pick your favorite from the 11 different steak sauces on offer!

Each table also has condiments,
so feel free to mix up your own original sauce 👍👍

While we were having fun with that,
the main dish arrived!!!!Here it comes! The meat!!!!

It’s 225g, but the volume looks impressive.

Sizzling away on a piping-hot iron plate.

The inside is on the rare side, so when you eat it,

cook it to your preferred doneness on the hot plate

then dip it in your favorite sauce and take a bite.

The meat is so tender!!!!!

This quality from the cheapest cut on the menu!?
No way, this is way too good — insanely tender!!!

I was honestly impressed (haha).

For this price and this quality of meat,
I’m beyond satisfied!

By the way, my friend ordered different items —

Fillet Steak Lunch 225g (2,270 yen)

Mania Rib Steak & Mania Hamburg Steak (2,495 yen)

She raved about both, saying “The meat is the best!!!” ☺️
