Introducing Re.kuru Tamana
Hello there! It’s Kurubushi, your SaruKuma writer ☆彡
Today I’m taking you to Rokuta, Tamana City, to a place called
Re.kuru Tamana!
We covered this spot back in 2022, but it has powered up so much that we just had to come back for a second look!
Re.kuru Tamana is
an all-in-one mega facility combining a kids’ gym, fitness gym, indoor golf, café, and even a car wash.

No, that’s not a typo lol.
There really is a car wash machine right in the parking lot.
In all my 40-something years on this planet, I’d never seen such a thing.
“A car wash machine in a parking lot”
That alone is enough to win over any car enthusiast.
I arrived right around the 10 a.m. opening time, and a couple was already busy washing their car ^^

There’s even an EV charging station, so feel free to drive in from out of town in your electric vehicle!

There are also some play structures outside.
Honestly, you’ll have a hard time even getting through the door — the parking lot itself is already a blast.

The parking lot is spacious with room for 26 cars!
Each spot is generously wide, making it easy to park even larger family vehicles ^^

That orange strip wraps all the way around the building, made of a soft, cushioned material —
perfect for little ones who are just learning to walk ♪

Just inside the entrance, you’ll find a self-service check-in counter.
The instructions are clearly explained step by step, so it’s super easy to use.

You start by purchasing a 1-hour admission ticket. If you want to stay longer, you simply pay for the additional time when you leave ^^
Payment options include cash as well as cashless methods like QR code payments.
Once you’ve paid, slip your ticket into the lanyard card holder, take off your shoes, and head inside.
Hold on to your ticket — it’s used to check your time when you leave!

Here are the house rules.
Junior high students and up pay the adult rate, with an additional 110 yen charged for every 30 minutes after the first hour.
Babies under 1 are free when accompanied by an older sibling.
Babies under 1 visiting on their own, however, are charged the children’s rate, so do keep that in mind ^^
Drinks for kids can be brought in from outside!
My son will only drink barley tea, so this is a lifesaver… haha
Outside food is not permitted, so please order from the on-site café for snacks ♪
Adults can’t bring in their own drinks, but here’s the kicker — one drink is included for free!

Ta-da! Look at that drink menu — there’s so much to choose from!
Let that sink in for a moment.
An adult pays just 380 yen per hour and gets a drink included.
“Are we really living in 2026?”
Yes, yes we are.
And the kids’ rate of 380 yen per hour is just as wild.
Two hours of play comes to only 490 yen — you’d still get change back from a 500-yen coin!
“Are we really living in 2026?”
Yes, I know, I keep saying it.
Even I had to do a double take — I’d come in assuming it was 380 yen for just 30 minutes.

The green area in the center of the floor map is the kids’ gym, and the white space around it might look like just a hallway, but…

It’s actually the parents’ lounge and café area!
Even if your kid says, “Don’t look at me!”
“Sorry kid — I can see everything (・∀・)”

There are even comfy sofa seats where you can sink in and relax ^^
And of course, the kids’ gym is always in your line of sight, so no need to worry ♪
Beyond the included drinks, there are also

soft drinks and even soft serve ice cream available ^^

The restrooms are top-notch too!

This is the women’s restroom, with two stalls.

And here’s the accessible/multipurpose restroom!

This one is the kids’ play area restroom.
It comes equipped with a diaper-changing station, baby seat, and even a toddler toilet seat — talk about thinking of everything!

The hand-washing area even has a step stool ^^

The nursing room has a comfy sofa and even a hot water pot ^^

The window in the nursing room is actually a one-way mirror,
so when you pull back the curtain, you can peek into the kids’ play space!
Moms with multiple kids can keep an eye on their older child while breastfeeding the baby — what a thoughtful touch ^^

The door between the kids’ gym and the parents’ lounge can be locked,
so you don’t have to worry about your little one slipping out the moment you take your eyes off them.
The lock is placed up high, well out of children’s reach.
It’s the little touches like this that really put parents at ease ^^
Highlights of Re.kuru Tamana
The biggest draw of Re.kuru Tamana is, hands down,
its absolutely jam-packed kids’ gym!

Alright, finally let me show you around inside!

A balance beam — a kids’ classic favorite.

Hanging rings and a slackline too!
My 3-year-old, who’s at peak monkey mode and loves anything to do with hanging or swinging, was absolutely hooked!

There’s also a roller-coaster-style slide where kids ride down on a Thomas the Tank Engine car.
He went down this one over and over again ^^

You’ll also find a jungle gym and a tunnel trampoline,

a bouldering wall,

and even ring toss!
There’s also a separate area just for tiny babies,

cleanly separated by partitions, so you don’t have to worry about big kids accidentally bumping into the little ones ^^
That’s not all, either:

there’s a play kitchen,

jumbo building blocks,

kids’ toy laptops,

and yes — that ever-popular blue-railed train set!! (Plarail)
The toy area and the active play area are separated by benches, so kids can play safely without worrying about collisions ^^

After running around to their heart’s content, kids can sit down and enjoy some chill Plarail train time ^^
Just don’t forget to clean up afterward ♪

And if you become a fitness gym member, your kids get unlimited access to the kids’ gym —
a win for parents AND kids!
You won’t find a more cost-effective subscription anywhere…
If I lived nearby, I’d seriously sign up in a heartbeat!!

And to prevent overexcited kids from making a sudden dash for the exit,
the automatic door’s button is mounted up high — out of little hands’ reach!
Thank you for that thoughtful touch! (My son tried to make a run for it…)
If you’re wondering where to spend the day, it’s absolutely worth the trip out to Tamana for Re.kuru Tamana ♪
For event info and the latest updates, be sure to check their official website or Instagram ^^
Nearby, you can also enjoy the local Tamana food scene — there’s a French-style cake shop with eat-in seating called “Sosaku Furansu Kashi L’Oiseau Bleu,”
a kid-friendly traditional house café with tatami seating called “Kukichimaru,”
and “Coco Crepe,” famous for its hearty, generously stuffed crêpes.
Make a day of it and treat yourself to the best of Tamana ^^
