Today I’m taking you to Taijima in Minami Ward, Kumamoto City, to a delicious little gem called
[Komekome Burger & Kitchen Beriko].

I was wandering around feeling hungry when this charming shop caught my eye 👀💕
The site shares a parking lot with Super Kid and 2nd Street, so finding a spot is easy 🚘

What makes Komekome Burger & Kitchen Beriko special? They serve both rice burgers AND fresh-baked bread, so you can pick whichever your stomach is craving that day ♡

Here’s the kicker — the bread is made with 100% Kumamoto-grown wheat, with no additives and no eggs! Perfect for travelers with egg allergies 😊

The variety here is just as wild ‥! (I broke trying to type out every option — sorry!)
They even have summer-only “Natsu Koppe” rolls and pillowy “French Toast” ♡

I picked the multigrain rice bun for the Chicken & Eggplant Miso version ✌️

And of course, when it comes to rice burgers, you can’t skip yakiniku!

The Premium Yakiniku OCOME Burger is seriously stacked ♡

This one I went with white rice 🍚

The bold, savory flavors are super satisfying!

Even after taking it out and eating it 30 minutes later, it was still hot — I was shocked 😳

Heads up to those with sensitive tongues — give it a moment before biting in! 🤣

Next up: the Fried Bread with Kinako ♪

Fluffy ♡ generously dusted with kinako (roasted soybean powder) ♡

Even after two rice burgers, this one disappeared with no problem.

I was officially stuffed, so I waited a bit before tackling the An-Margarine Koppe (sweet red bean paste with margarine) ♪
Loaded with anko — pure happiness ♡
