About Hokubu Chuo Park

Today I’m introducing a great spot located in Tanaka-Nishimachi, Yatsushiro City:
“Hokubu Chuo Park” (North Central Park).

Tucked away inside a quiet residential neighborhood, this park is surprisingly spacious 👒

It also has a parking lot, so it’s easy to visit even if you’re coming from further away!
Having parking available is such a relief 💦

The parking is split into two areas, with 4 spaces in each (plus 2 accessible parking spots). The lot pictured was nicely paved, but the other one wasn’t quite as well maintained 💦

The spaces are a bit narrow, so please drive carefully 🚗

Here are the restrooms! There’s a multipurpose toilet equipped with a diaper-changing station ☆

The diaper station is there, but the interior wasn’t in the best condition 💦

There’s also a hand-washing area right next to the playground equipment ◎

You’ll find two vending machines inside the park 🌟 Both are conveniently located near the parking lots.

Right next to the play equipment, there’s also a table and chairs where you can sit and take a break (^○^)

Why We Recommend Hokubu Chuo Park

Here’s the playground!
It’s a bit on the smaller side, but there’s a lovely combination play structure ~!
Everything was beautifully clean ◎
You can let your kids play here with peace of mind 🥰

This play structure has three different slides 🥰

There were even sections that my 1-year-old son could go down by himself (^^)
On this particular day, though, instead of sliding, he just stood at the top and danced around for a while 😂

Right beside the playground, there’s also a wide-open field ♪
We spotted some folks taking a stroll and others enjoying ground golf!

There are also some small steps, and my son had a blast climbing up and down them ☆
