Introducing Aobadai Minami Park

Hello, this is Suno, a writer for [Sarukuma].

Today I’m introducing a park located in Tsukure, Kikuyo Town, Kikuchi District:
[Aobadai Minami Park]Tucked away in the back of the Garden Hills Aobadai residential area, the park is accessed via the Kikuyo Bypass near Ayun Terrace.It’s a peaceful park nestled inside a quiet residential neighborhood (no parking available).
Soccer, baseball, and bicycles are not permitted inside the park.
The playground equipment includes swings.
And tire jumps — a classic Japanese playground feature where kids hop across half-buried tires.

You usually only see these at school grounds rather than public parks, so my son had a blast jumping around on something new!
There’s also a generously sized, well-kept sandbox.
A handwashing station is available, with a hose attached to the upper section.
There’s also a small raised stage-like area covered with weed-prevention sheeting.

I noticed dog walkers taking a break here too — a lovely spot for a quiet pause.

Aobadai Minami Park: Highlights to Check Out

A slide stands right at the center of Aobadai Minami Park.
The climbing section felt a bit narrow.
Looking closely, the equipment is rated for ages 6 to 12!
That makes sense — the slide is taller than ones you typically see elsewhere.

The stairs are fairly steep too, so parents will want to stay close behind their kids for safety!Right next to it is a jungle gym.
My 5-year-old son made it all the way to the top with my support,

but like the slide, this jungle gym is also marked for ages 6 to 12.
Three clean benches make a perfect spot for a snack break ♪

There’s a large tree as well, where I spotted some elementary school kids tree-climbing on the lower branches.
