Welcome to ENDELEA COFFEE
Hello, fellow travelers!
I’m a Sarukuma writer who absolutely loves coffee aromas, and I drink at least three cups a day (*^-^*)
Today I’d like to introduce you to a wonderful little coffee shop located in Yokotoshinmachi, Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture:
ENDELEA COFFEE.
Whenever I visit Yatsushiro, this is a must-stop spot for me!

As you drive northwest along Prefectural Route 42, you’ll spot Yakiniku King on your left.
Keep going for about 100 meters and you’ll see this view ahead.

Here’s the entrance! Wondering which door to use? The cafe entrance is on the right.
But here’s a fun tip: you can also enter through the door on the left! That side is shared with Miyazaki Kenchiku (an architectural firm), but the space is open to everyone, so feel free to come in either way.
What a charming entrance, isn’t it? Let’s step inside!

The moment you walk in, soft warm light surrounds you, and the rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee fills the air.
Honestly, it’s irresistible!

There are 4 counter seats available.
You can also sit here while waiting for your takeout order.
The interior and atmosphere are truly stylish.
As I mentioned, you can also enter from the left side, where Miyazaki Kenchiku has their office. Every corner of this place is beautifully designed, so I recommend exploring through the left entrance too!

What a lovely entrance! Stylish details everywhere you look.

This is the shared lounge space, free for guests to use.
If the counter seats are full, this is a great alternative.
The space is so comfortable I felt like I could stay forever!
But before I get too cozy, time to order — I’m dying for a cup of coffee!
Recommended Menu at ENDELEA COFFEE
Here’s the menu!
All prices include tax.

Choosing is always so hard for me, because honestly… I want to try them all!
The Banana × Yogurt drink was so popular it sold out before I could try it, so if you spot something interesting, grab it while you can!
Today I went with a Ginger Latte (HOT) for dine-in.
And for takeout, I chose the Seasonal Drip Coffee (HOT).
Yes, two cups — I came prepared!

Here are the seasonal drip coffee options!
You can choose from around 5 single-origin beans at any time.
Today there were 5 to pick from.
Decisions, decisions! According to the staff, the two on the right are dark roast, and the three on the left are light roast.
I went with the dark-roast Papua New Guinea.

And here comes my Ginger Latte!
Look at that adorable heart-shaped latte art!
So cute!
The ginger comes from Eguchi Farm in Misumi, Uto City — locally sourced and full of flavor.

Even the coaster has the shop’s logo on it — such a cute touch!
Now, time to dig in!
Wow, so delicious!
The ginger spice is gentle rather than sharp. You can fully enjoy the rich coffee aroma and flavor first, with a soft sweetness and warm ginger note that follows beautifully.
I’m officially hooked!

And here’s my takeout: dark-roast Papua New Guinea drip coffee.
The cute logo on the cup makes the drive home feel extra special!
The flavor is bold, full-bodied, and surprisingly easy to sip.
The aroma is wonderful too!
My car was filled with the most incredible coffee scent the whole way home.

Records and coffee — a perfect pairing.
It’s the kind of place where you forget about heading home!
Time just slows down here.

This is the view from the counter seats.

Many customers also stop in just to buy coffee beans to take home!
That way, you can enjoy ENDELEA’s signature flavors at home too!
This bag is Ethiopia (200g / 1,500 yen).
It’s decaffeinated! Perfect for expectant or nursing moms — and anyone avoiding caffeine!
I wish I’d known about this sooner!

Calling all sweet-coffee and cafe au lait lovers!
The Cafe au Lait Base (980 yen) is highly recommended.
Just mix it with milk and you’re done — super easy! Perfect for lazy folks like me.
It’s great for the whole family to enjoy together!
The suggested ratio is 3 parts milk to 1 part coffee base.
This popular coffee shop has many regulars and is well-loved by the local community. If you’re heading to Yatsushiro, definitely make a stop here!
You can chat with the friendly owner and staff while enjoying a relaxing, peaceful moment over a great cup of coffee.

The shop is open nearly every day of the year — only closed on New Year’s Day. Impressive dedication!
You can check the latest news, new menu items, and updates on their Instagram and Facebook pages.

They also participate in events and pop-ups outside of Yatsushiro, so keep an eye out!
Now, off I go for a drive with my takeout coffee in hand.
Why not enjoy a coffee-fueled drive of your own with a cup from ENDELEA?
