Today I’m taking you to a sweet little gem in
Oka-machi, Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto—
“Nishioka Honey Specialty Shop – Milk House”!

Look for the cute honey bee sign along Route 3—you can’t miss it!
I’ve been curious about this place ever since it opened, and I finally made it (*^^*)

There’s plenty of parking right on site, plus a second parking lot too (^-^)

Here we are at Nishioka Honey Specialty Shop!

Let’s step inside the shop first (^o^)/

The interior has the most charming, cozy vibe!

Spotted these adorable honey jars—perfect as gifts or souvenirs!

Honey 50g — 385 yen (Member price: 350 yen)

Honey Nuts — 495 yen (Member price: 450 yen)

This one really caught my eye!

Here’s a generous tasting bar with lots of honey samples (*^^*)

There were varieties with light, refreshing sweetness and others bursting with floral aromas (*^^*)
It’s so much fun sampling them all to find your personal favorite!

Honey Pudding — 250 yen
was also on offer (^o^)/

Looks absolutely irresistible!

Right next to the honey shop’s entrance, you’ll find the “Milk House” (^o^)/

You order via a meal ticket machine—a classic Japanese system!

Honey Soft Serve (cone or cup) — 400 yen
Honey Lemon (hot or iced) — 400 yen
Honey Cafe Latte (hot or iced) — 450 yen
Honey Milk (hot or iced) — 450 yen
Rich Milk (with tapioca) — 500 yen

The restroom is super cute and even has a diaper-changing station—a real plus for traveling families (^-^)v

There are benches and even a swing in front of the shop, making it a fun spot for kids too ＼(^o^)／

This time at Milk House, I went for the

Honey Soft Serve — 400 yen

They drizzle generous amounts of pure honey right over the snow-white soft serve in front of you (^o^)/

The light, refreshing soft serve combined with rich, golden honey created an explosion of flowery sweetness in my mouth (*^^*)

Seriously, it was incredible ＼(^o^)／

This honey soft serve is the perfect treat to refresh you during Japan’s hot summer months (⌒0⌒)／~~

There’s also a cafe on the second floor—I’m definitely coming back for lunch next time (^-^)

Easy to spot right along Route 3, this welcoming little shop is the perfect pit stop on your Kumamoto travels.
