Today I’m taking you to S Cafe, a charming little drink stand located in Arao City, right near Arao City Mall.

To put it simply: it’s smack in the middle between Arao City Mall and Greenland Amusement Park — perfect for a refreshing pit stop on your Kumamoto road trip!

S Cafe is a takeout-only spot serving original specialty drinks — perfect for grabbing something delicious to enjoy on the go.

Just look at that adorable exterior! ♡

Here’s the parking lot. The building above houses Hair Salon Chanti, and the parking is shared between the two businesses — handy to know if you’re driving in.

The interior is just as cute! The hand-lettered text on the walls? All drawn by the staff themselves.

They casually called it “doodles,” but honestly, the design sense is on point.

This time I went for the Strawberry Milk Tapioca Smoothie.

Just look at it — totally Instagram-worthy! You’ll want to set it down and start snapping photos right away.

I’d love to line up a rainbow of these colorful drinks for a full-on photo shoot someday!

The drink is loaded with big, chewy fresh tapioca pearls — and they’re seriously plentiful.

My 4-year-old daughter, a tapioca super-fan who adorably calls them “papioka,” was absolutely thrilled!

Frozen strawberries and lightly sweetened fresh whipped cream fill the cup generously.
The tartness of the strawberries balances beautifully with the cream and the gentle sweetness of the milk — a combination that just works.

It’s no surprise: I learned that only items that pass the staff’s strict taste-tests make it onto the menu.
