Hello, travelers! This is Asukarando, a writer for [Sarukuma].

Today I’m introducing a wonderful family restaurant in Nonoshima, Koshi City
[Hananoya].

I dropped by Hananoya, a popular family-style restaurant, with a big group of friends and their kids. Here’s the full report! (*^^*)

The eye-catching sign and standout building make it super easy to spot from the road, even when you’re driving by. (^o^)/

The parking lot is enormous!

It’s a shared lot with the Chinese restaurant “Beijing” (Pekin) that we’ve previously featured on the blog.

There are stairs and a ramp, so you can enter easily with strollers or wheelchairs. (*^^*)

The interior feels bright and spacious.

Roll-down curtains can be lowered to create cozy, semi-private spaces — perfect when you want a bit more privacy.

There are also traditional tatami-style seating areas — a lovely touch of Japanese dining culture.

And yes — they have child-sized chairs too! (^-^)

Hananoya’s menu is seriously huge!

Hananoya — Recommended Dishes

The kids ordered their absolute favorite — the Kids’ Lunch!

Kids’ Lunch — ¥638

It’s loaded with all the dishes kids love most — they’ll be wondering where to start!

Just look at the impressive size of that hamburg steak!

Karaage (Japanese fried chicken), shrimp fries, sausages, fries, juice — all kid favorites! Plus rice topped with furikake (Japanese rice seasoning). (*^^*)
Now THIS is what a kids’ lunch should look like! ☆

This authentic, meaty hamburg steak is way too good to be “just” a kids’ meal — it’s seriously next-level!

Us greedy grown-ups ordered the Half Hamburg Lunch so we could enjoy two flavors at once!

Just like the kids’ version, the hamburg steak here is meaty, juicy, and seriously satisfying in size! (^o^)v

Bursting with juices in every bite — a hamburg steak that absolutely delivers. (^-^)

And right next to it? A glorious selection of fried favorites! \(^o^)/

We sat in a spacious horigotatsu-style private room (sunken-floor seating where your legs hang down comfortably).
It’s perfect for noisy family gatherings, and they have plenty of kids’ chairs and cutlery too.
The restrooms are big enough for parents and kids together, and there’s even a diaper-changing station — total peace of mind for families. (*^^*)
