Introducing Chinese Restaurant Beijing

Hello travelers! This is Asukarando, writer for [SaruKuma].

Today I’m excited to introduce you to Nonoshima, Koshi City’s
[Chinese Restaurant Beijing].

The restaurant sits right next door to ‘Hananoya’ (previously featured on SaruKuma), and the two share a spacious parking area — super convenient! (^-^)

The entrance has two steps, so getting in with a stroller is a bit tricky — but the interior is roomy, so I just carried my little one inside.

Inside ‘Chinese Restaurant Beijing’ you’ll find both table seating and a counter area.

Children’s tableware is available too.

And yes, there are kids’ chairs ready and waiting (^-^)

Recommended Dishes at Chinese Restaurant Beijing

Here’s what we ordered (^o^)

Sweet & Sour Pork Set — 1,100 yen
Crisp, crunchy onions and big chunks of tender pork (^-^)
The glossy sweet-and-sour sauce coats every bite and pairs perfectly with rice — pure comfort food! \(^o^)/

The kimchi side dish is mild and clearly homemade — crunchy napa cabbage with a gentle kick (^-^)

The set also came with a generous salad, plus karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and tofu on the side — talk about value!

Karaage (Fried Chicken) Set — 800 yen

Four fist-sized pieces of golden fried chicken! The coating is super crispy, and the moment you bite in, the juicy flavor bursts out!

And then… my child blurted out:
“This is even better than the karaage at home!!!” — an honest review straight from the source (^^;

It really was that good (^з^)-☆
If you’re a fried chicken fan, this is a must-try menu item (*^^*)

Five-Treasure Ramen — 820 yen

The noodles stay piping hot to the last bite, wrapped in a thick, veggie-loaded broth that you’ll want to drink down to the last drop! (^o^)

And finally, the Yu Lin Chicken (crispy chicken with sweet soy sauce) — 1,100 yen
What a hearty plate!

The chicken came bone-in — a first for me! The tangy glaze and crispy coating mingled with the fresh vegetables for a wonderful finish to the meal (*^^*)

The owner of ‘Beijing’ is from China, and the menu strikes a perfect balance — kid-friendly options alongside authentically spicy mapo tofu, making it a great pick for families.
We didn’t order the mapo tofu this time because of the kids, but it’s at the top of my list for next visit (^-^)/
