Hello everyone! This is Mido, writer for Sarukuma.

Today I’m taking you to Yoshitomi, Shisui Town, Kikuchi City, to a charming little bakery called
Pan Club (ใƒ‘ใƒณๅ€ถๆฅฝ้ƒจ).

I was heading to Kikuchi and looking for somewhere to grab bread for lunch when I discovered this place โ€” sandwiches for just 150 yen! Naturally, I had to check it out.

Pan Club sits along National Route 387, right next door to the Yoshitomi Postal Agency.
Kamogawa Riverside Park and Shisui Confucius Park are both within a 10-minute drive, and Ikoi-no-Mori Park is just steps away from the bakery!

Parking is available right in front of the shop!
Pan Club opens early โ€” doors swing open at 7:30 a.m.!
They close at 5:30 p.m. in the evening, or earlier if they sell out.
Closed on Wednesdays.
The shop’s signature item is the “Uguisu Bread” (sweet bread with green pea paste)!

Egg is included in every variety, paired with options like ham & tomato, cream cheese, tuna, or teriyaki.
Shrimp Cutlet Burger โ€” 160 yen

Hamburger โ€” 150 yen
Cheese Menchi Cutlet (minced meat cutlet) โ€” 150 yen

Even the priciest sandwich or burger here is only 160 yen โ€” incredibly easy on the wallet!
The famous Uguisu Bread โ€” 380 yen

Loaded with sweet green peas, this loaf has serious presence!Milky Hotel-style shokupan: 500 yen for a whole loaf, 300 yen for a half (ikkin).
Fresh-from-the-oven items are marked with a “Just Baked” sign โ€” keep an eye out! Beyond sandwiches and burgers, here are some of the savory rolls on offer!

The cookie croissants are bite-sized โ€” perfect for a snack between meals.
70 yen each is already a steal, and 2 for 120 yen makes it even better value.

You’ll also spot anpan (sweet bean buns), chocolate-filled rolls, and more!
With such friendly prices, it’s hard to stop at just one.

A medium platter happened to be ready in store, so I snapped a photo for you.

Pan Club Recommended Items

Pan Club’s signature is the “Uguisu Bread”, but since I came specifically for the sandwiches, I picked up a sandwich plus a few other goodies!

One sandwich, a tonkatsu sandwich, a shrimp cutlet burger, a forest gratin roll, a sweet potato pie, and 2 cookie croissants โ€” all for just 880 yen!

For my sandwich, I went with the classic combo of egg, tomato, and ham!
The shokupan (Japanese milk bread) was wonderfully soft โ€” even the crust was tender and delicious!
The shrimp cutlet burger is small enough to fit in your hand.
The bun is fluffy and soft, and the shrimp cutlet inside is tender too โ€” ideal for kids to enjoy!
The sauce-and-mayo combo makes it disappear bite by bite.
The sweet potato pie came home with us as an afternoon snack.
The sweet potato filling inside was moist and full of flavor!

Everything else we tried was just as delicious!
The tonkatsu in the sandwich was beautifully tender too!
