Shima Cafe, a charming little spot located in
Noborutate, Oyano-machi, Kamiamakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture.

An unmistakably Aloha vibe!
Just soaking in the tropical atmosphere is enough to lift your spirits.

Parking is available in the lot of Ai no Amakusa Mura,
watched over by the iconic statue of Amakusa Shiro himself!

Right next door, there’s a cozy eat-in space — perfect for taking a relaxing break during a long drive along the Amakusa coast. ♪

The menu features bubble tea (tapioca) with very wallet-friendly prices:
Smoothie — 440 yen
Milk-based — 380 yen
Hot — 400 yen

And don’t miss their
Taiwanese shaved ice (Xue Hua Bing) — 650 yen! ♪

There are also piping-hot food options — perfect for warming up on chilly days!

You can even try
Ikinari Dango (a beloved Kumamoto specialty of sweet potato and red bean wrapped in dough) — 150 yen! ♪

Hot Bubble Tea — 400 yen, in coconut flavor! ♪

The moment you wrap your hands around the warm cup, you can already feel the cozy heat.

The coconut flavor really shines through —
rich, fragrant, and absolutely delicious!

That gentle, warm sweetness is exactly what you need to chase away the chill.

The tapioca pearls are wonderfully chewy
and pair beautifully with the creamy coconut.
It’s surprisingly filling, too!

And here’s the best part — they’re seriously generous with the tapioca.
You get an impressively huge serving!
