Today I’m taking you to a sweet little gem nestled in the heart of Aso —
miu milk, located in Nagakusa, Aso City.

Driving along National Route 57 from Ichinokawa Station toward Uchinomaki Station, you’ll spot miu milk’s bright yellow sign on your right. It sits right next to Aso Uma Bokujo (Aso Horse Ranch).

It’s always bustling with happy customers, so if you’ve passed through the Aso area, chances are you’ve already noticed it!
The parking lot is super spacious and easy to use!
There’s even more parking right beside the shop, so you won’t need to worry about finding a spot.
And here’s the building itself.
The lemon-yellow exterior pops beautifully against the blue sky and the majestic Aso mountains in the background — total picture-perfect vibes ♪
Don’t miss the adorable cow statue peeking out — what a fun photo op!
I noticed plenty of cars with out-of-prefecture plates, so this place is clearly drawing visitors from far and wide.
There’s a charming photo spot decorated with the miu milk logo sign and bright yellow garlands.
Everyone was lining up to snap photos here!
And how cute is this giant soft-serve ice cream chair?! Almost too realistic ♪
There’s also a crepe stand set up against the sweeping natural backdrop, perfect for that dreamy Instagram shot.

At miu milk, every Aso crepe is freshly cooked and beautifully assembled to order, so kick back and soak in those breathtaking Aso views while you wait ♪
When the result looks this gorgeous, the wait is totally worth it ♪
※ Heads up: once they run out of crepe batter for the day, crepes are sold out — so it’s best to come earlier in the day!
There are tables and chairs near the entrance where you can relax while waiting, or you can chill in your car if you prefer.
Trash bins are conveniently placed right here for after you’re done.
Hand sanitizer is provided too!
There’s a simple Japanese-style restroom at one corner of the parking lot too.
And there’s a tap to wash sticky hands — a real lifesaver!

Pick from crushed cookies, premium kinako (roasted soybean flour), mango sauce, and more.
The Bari Soft (XL Soft-Serve) — 520 yen caught my eye too…
The drinks menu is impressively varied too!
Homemade Original Lemonade — 350 yen
This is another crowd favorite.
(You can choose between still or sparkling water ♪)
I had a hard time deciding, but the gorgeous pile of fresh lemons completely won me over…
Original Lemon Cheesecake Crepe!!! — 580 yen
The crepe wrap is wonderfully chewy, and the bright lemon flavor bursts through with every bite.
The fresh lemon slices on top are perfectly balanced — not too sweet, refreshingly zesty. Absolutely amazing ♪
For an extra 100 yen, you can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream too!
My friend went for the
No.1 bestseller — Crème Brûlée Crepe — 680 yen
It looks impressively hefty, but it’s surprisingly light despite the rich, creamy flavor. Truly delicious!
