Introducing Petit Bouqet

Today I’m taking you to Petit Bouqet, a delightful little shop tucked away in Kairoguchi-machi, Minami Ward, Kumamoto City.

Just a 10-minute drive away, you’ll find Kumamoto Port Shinsui Ryokuchi Park, which we’ve featured before on Sarukuma.

It’s a peaceful area where the sea breeze drifts through — absolute bliss!

You can reach the shop from either the Kumamoto New Port direction or from central Kumamoto City and Uto.
Since it sits right along the main road, even first-time visitors won’t have any trouble finding it!
Petit Bouqet has a spacious parking lot — 4 spaces directly in front of the shop,
plus 3 more spaces along the side.
Petit Bouqet shares its space with Y Shop Tortoise, and there are two entrances, but
the interior is connected, so feel free to enter from whichever door you prefer (^^)/
The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by rows of irresistibly cute cookies!
The shop primarily offers icing cookies and bagged cookies, along with several varieties of tea bags.

Cookie inventory and varieties change daily.

To the left of the entrance, you’ll find shopping baskets and a small lifestyle goods corner.

Recommended Items at Petit Bouqet

Although no one in our family is currently studying for entrance exams, I picked up a sweet smiley-face good-luck charm and two bagged cookies.
Receiving such an adorable good-luck cookie would surely bring a moment of relief to anyone facing the pressure of exams!
The size is roughly the size of a child’s palm.
My kids were thrilled — “the smiley face is so cute!” they said ♪
The icing cookies feature designs and letters piped onto the cookie dough using
icing cream made from powdered sugar and egg white.

The icing portion has a slightly firm texture.
The cookie itself is gently sweet — perception varies, but it’s certainly not overpoweringly sugary.
