Why You’ll Love Shibafu Hiroba

It’s huge β€” seriously huge! While there aren’t any specific play structures, the wide-open space is perfect for soccer, ball games, and just running free!

And get this β€” there are even goal posts! Multiple groups and kids playing soccer or baseball were enjoying the park during our visit, but it’s so spacious that everyone had room to play comfortably.

A friendly reminder: please avoid playing ball games near the walls β€” there’s a sign posted! Let’s all be considerate visitors.

Large trees surround the lawn area, providing plenty of natural shade β€” the perfect spot to rest after a tiring play session!

There are even cherry blossom trees, making this an excellent hanami (cherry blossom viewing) spot in spring!

Whether it’s soccer, badminton, or just stretching your legs, Shibafu Hiroba is the ultimate park for active outdoor fun.
This time of year is also great for kite flying! Come on out and enjoy a day in the open air!
