Today I’m introducing a wonderful spot in Ueki-machi, Kita Ward, Kumamoto City:
“Tao Cafe”

Let me show you around this charming cafe! (^-^)/

Plenty of parking right in front of the shop!

The cafe shares its lot with a dental clinic and a supermarket, making it easy to find.

Step inside and take a look! (^-^)/

You’re greeted by sacks of green coffee beans the moment you walk in (^-^)

A coffee lover’s paradise!
That soothing aroma fills the air

I even got to see the beans being roasted in-house.

You can also buy freshly roasted beans to take home (^-^)

There’s also a semi-private kids’ space with one table —
perfect for parents to enjoy a relaxed meal
while watching the little ones play!

Since there’s only one table, reservations are highly recommended (^^)

High chairs for children are also available.

A baby crib and toys are provided too, so children of any age can play happily.

Mocha Cheesecake

I just had to order it!

The cheesecake is infused with espresso roasted in-house, giving it a gentle coffee-brown hue (^-^)
You won’t find a mocha cheesecake quite like this anywhere else!

It’s been too long!

Now for that first bite (^o^)

The moist, mellow cake combined with that subtle coffee aroma and flavor —
it’s truly heavenly!

With so many coffees to choose from, I asked the staff for a recommendation and went with the
Meister Blend.

This signature coffee actually has whole coffee beans floating on top!

The beans aren’t for eating — they’re there to enhance the aroma (^^)

If you order a food set with a drink, refills are just 200 yen from the second cup onward.
