Today I’m excited to introduce a charming spot located in Mishiri, Koshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture —
“Restaurant Orion”.

Conveniently located near Miyoshi Station on the Kikuchi Electric Railway, Restaurant Orion is the perfect lunch stop. I dropped by with mom friends and our kids, and I just have to share the experience with you (*^^*)

There’s parking in the front, on the side, and out back — and at lunchtime, every spot fills up. That’s how popular this place is!

Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance (^-^)

They even provide little plastic bags for your face mask!
When you take off your mask to eat, it’s always a hassle figuring out where to put it.
Such a thoughtful little touch — really appreciated (^-^)v

Inside Restaurant Orion, you’ll find plenty of table seating.

There’s also a private tatami-style room toward the back — a real lifesaver for parents with little ones (^з^)-☆

And the meat is so tender!!!!!

The tonkatsu sauce has a miso base — light brown in color and slightly sweet, a unique local twist.
