I’ve been curious about this place every time I drove through Aso,
and I finally made it there — woohoo!

Lapis Lazuli Ice Cream — 500 yen

This stunning blue ice cream is made with a base of slow-simmered blueberries.
With ingredients like that, how could it possibly not be delicious?

Beyond soft-serve ice cream, they also serve crepes!

or 600 yen if you add soft-serve. ♪

It’s like a dream team of all my favorite things!

Chestnuts are amazing — there’s truly no such thing as a bad chestnut.

The Mont Blanc cream has just the right level of sweetness, and my happiness levels are off the charts.

And the fresh soft-serve? Seriously, it’s incredible.
It’s not too sweet, so you can keep eating without getting tired of it.

Because it’s not overly sweet, it pairs perfectly with the Mont Blanc cream,
and pure umami spreads through every bite.

Honestly, it’s that good.
