August Highlights

On August 20th, we hosted another session of “Kasumiso Hiroba,” the parent-child gathering space born from Sarukuma!

This time, we welcomed “Egao no Tamatebako” (Smile Treasure Box) for a delightful puppet show and magic performance! ♬

The little ones watched with such focused, adorable expressions, and the moms were just as captivated! ♡

We were also thrilled to welcome the “Ningyogeki Himawari” puppet troupe from Kikuyo Town!
Everyone was glued to the puppy characters and the magical “water of youth” story! The much-anticipated magic show featured everything from gentle, giggle-inducing tricks to mind-bending illusions that had both moms and kids leaning in with wide eyes!

At the end, our beloved Tama-chan made another appearance this year, and a long line formed for photo opportunities! ♡

After the magic show, the team from Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance joined us with autonomic nervous system check-ups and a fun candy lottery!
For moms who looked a little stressed, they offered kind words like “Take it easy today, don’t push yourself,” which brought warm smiles to everyone’s faces ♩

Since it was during summer vacation, many moms came along with their older kids too. We hope it became a special little summer memory for everyone! ♡

Once again, Yusui Hoikuen Toyooka (Yusui Toyooka Nursery) generously lent us a height/weight scale and a variety of toys.

Each month, the principal of “Yusui Hoikuen Toyooka” joins us at the event.
They kindly lend us tools, toys, and the height/weight scale we use during our activities.
The principal happily answers questions about choosing a nursery, and even shares insights for those wondering what it’s like to work at a nursery.
During activities, you might just find a baby has snuggled into the principal’s lap! lol
