located in Shichijo-machi, Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture — a wonderful spot for international visitors traveling with kids.

From the parking area, take a short stroll and…

…a wide-open grass lawn stretches out before you.
During summer when the sun is intense, many families set up picnic mats and pop-up tents in the shade of the trees — a charming Japanese family outing scene!

As you walk down from the parking lot, a beautiful river comes into view!
And in the distance, you can already spot the giant playground equipment.

The river has shallow areas, making it perfect for younger children too! ♪
If you plan on splashing around in the river or pond, be sure to bring a change of clothes! ♫
