Today I’m excited to introduce you to
Yamanouchi Central Park,
located in Yamanouchi, Higashi-ku, Kumamoto City.

You’ll find the park right next to Yamanouchi Elementary School!

The parking lot has 6 spaces, with a bicycle parking area right next to it!

As you enter the park, a wide grass lawn opens up before you,
with a playground area further inside!

Beyond that, on slightly elevated ground,
you’ll find a putter golf course!

During my visit, the marigolds were in beautiful bloom (*^▽^*)

A park filled with flowers — how wonderful! ♡

The perimeter of the park forms a complete loop,
making it a perfect walking course (*^-^*)

There are also several benches with roof coverings for shade!

There is one restroom area, including an accessible multi-purpose toilet!

However, please note there is no diaper-changing station available.

There’s a drinking water fountain, but no vending machines on site, so be sure to bring drinks if needed!

Highlights & Recommendations

The first thing that caught my eye in the playground area was a long roller slide!!

The slope is fairly gentle, so it’s safe and enjoyable even for younger children! ♬

And some adorable spring-rider toys, too! ♪

Look at this cute little elephant slide! (*’ω’*)

You don’t see these very often — what a charming surprise!

At the edge of the park, you’ll also find several outdoor fitness equipment stations!
Being tucked away in a residential neighborhood, the park is wonderfully quiet ☆

You can hear birds singing in the trees, with the occasional cheerful sound of children’s voices drifting over from the elementary school next door (*^-^*)

A peaceful, relaxing place for both adults and kids alike —
