Introducing Eco Park Minamata – Sato (Village) Zone

Hello travelers! I’m Kanao, a writer for [Sarukuma].

Today I’m introducing a wonderful spot located in Shiomi-machi, Minamata City:
[Eco Park Minamata – Sato (Village) Zone].

Just look at how vast the Sato (Village) Zone alone is!
Eco Park Minamata is enormous, and it’s packed with so many wonderful features β˜†

Since the park is truly massive, I’ll walk you through each area one at a time πŸ˜‰
Today’s spotlight is on the “Sato (Village) Zone.”

There are two parking lots πŸš—
Both offer plenty of space, so even larger vehicles can park with ease β—Ž

The Sato (Village) Zone has two restroom facilities.
They’re impeccably maintained and beautifully clean ✨

You’ll also find drinking fountains and vending machines, so staying hydrated is never a concern β™ͺ
My personal favorite? The Seventeen Ice cream vending machine πŸ˜†
This ice cream is affordable, comes in tons of flavors, and tastes amazing β€” a must-try Japanese treat!

Right next to the parking lot is a wonderfully spacious grass field β—Ž
During my visit, I saw families playing volleyball and tossing baseballs around!

Inside the park, there’s a huge multi-feature playground structure.

It has three slides, suspension-bridge-style elements, rope-climbing equipment, and so much more ✨

A zip line (Tarzan rope)!?

Kids absolutely love these!
My son is still a bit too young, but I watched older elementary school kids having a blast here 😚

There are plenty of swings and other play equipment too β™‘
The swing area is enclosed by a safety fence, and the ground beneath is cushioned grass β€” a really thoughtful design for little ones πŸ₯°

Beyond the multi-feature structure, there are two more standalone slides!
With this many slides, even big groups of friends can play without anyone having to wait their turn πŸ₯Ή

This piece of equipment is perfect even for tiny tots around 1 year old β™ͺ The light-blue section bounces softly like a trampoline!
The ground below is made of soft, cushioned material, so even tumbles are no problem πŸ™†

There are loads of resting spots too, so adults can take a breather while the kids play πŸ˜‚

Top Highlights of Eco Park Minamata – Sato (Village) Zone

This is the “Forest of Play” β€” a hidden gem tucked a bit further into the park πŸ˜†

It’s filled with sound-making play equipment that’s incredibly fun!

This is a bell-ringing play feature that goes “clang clang” β™ͺ Each bell is tuned to a different note on the musical scale β€” pretty rare and unique 😍

This one’s a xylophone-style instrument you tap to make music β™ͺ
The mallets are made of slightly heavy rubber, so just be careful not to bump anyone πŸ’¦

Even just the Sato (Village) Zone has this much to offer, but Eco Park Minamata has many more play areas waiting to be explored β˜†
I’ll be sharing more in upcoming articles, so please check back soon ☺️
