Welcome to Toi no Soto Park

Today I’m taking you to a delightful little green space tucked into the heart of Suizenji, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City —
Toi no Soto Park!

It’s just a 1-minute walk from JR Shin-Suizenji Station!
You’ll find it right behind the Sunny supermarket — super convenient.

Here are the restrooms — handy for families!

And how cute is this — a little frog 🐸 drinking fountain!

There’s a bench tucked under a magnificent old camphor tree (*^-^*)
The leaves were down during my visit, but in summer it must offer wonderful, cooling shade!

You’ll spot a few regular benches scattered around the park, too.

What Makes This Park Special

The star attraction is this fun wave-shaped slide!

A curious-looking apparatus —
is it a hanging bar? A balance pole? Anyone’s guess!

Monkey bars!

A bouncy spring rider!

A sandbox for the little ones!

And there’s even some fitness equipment for grown-ups!

The open lawn area is plenty big for kids to run around freely (≧▽≦)
A walking course loops right around the park, perfect for a stroll!

Just a short walk from Suizenji Station and the local supermarket — Toi no Soto Park is a true neighborhood gem!
It’s the perfect place to let the kids burn off some energy while you run errands ☆

The day I visited had just rained, so the park was quiet —
but a cute little 3-year-old came with their mom and burst into tears,
saying “The slide is all wet!” (T_T)/~~~

So definitely come visit on a sunny day 🌞 for the best experience ♬
