Introducing Natural Coffee

This is Ayu-mama, a writer for “Sarukuma.”

Today, I’d like to introduce you to a wonderful little spot located in Shimosuzurikawa-machi, Kita Ward, Kumamoto City:

There’s a clear sign right by the road, so you’ll spot it easily.

An adorable ‘Coffee & Curry’ banner was fluttering out front!

There’s also a parking lot right in front of the shop — super convenient!

This cozy cafe specializes in Sri Lankan curry and freshly brewed coffee.

The cafe offers both indoor seating and a relaxing terrace area.

It’s a hugely popular spot, and the inside was completely full of happy customers! (So I couldn’t snap a photo inside…)

They also sell coffee beans and lovely handmade goods inside the shop!
The main menu features curry and coffee.
You’ll also find delightful cafe options like sundaes, soft-serve ice cream, and cakes.
They even serve tapioca (bubble tea)!

This time, I grabbed a spot on the lovely terrace!
I ordered the Original Special Blend Coffee — 300 yen

Coffee Specialist’s Cafe au Lait — 328 yen

Soft-Serve Ice Cream — 319 yen

The coffee was beautifully smooth and clean — no bitterness or aftertaste — making it incredibly easy to drink. Honestly, I could have ordered a second cup right away! ^_^

My son ordered the soft-serve ice cream!
Funnily enough, my son usually doesn’t even like soft-serve (is that even a thing for kids?!) — but this one he polished off in no time!

This time I came just for a cafe visit, but the curry has rave reviews and I’m dying to try it.
Next time, I’ll definitely come back for lunch! (^^)
