Hello travelers! This is Maru, a writer for Sarukuma 🙂🙃

Today, I’m excited to introduce a wonderful restaurant featuring tent seats ⛺ and a lovely terrace —
perfect for the warmer seasons ahead 🍃🌱

Located in Nagamine-Minami, Higashi-ku, Kumamoto City,
“LittleGarden” is a hidden gem worth seeking out.

True to its name, this is a beautiful standalone restaurant surrounded by lush trees and a charming garden ♪

The restaurant is conveniently located near the Nagamine Direx, ABC Mart, and Yumemart shopping area.

Just turn down the small road in the direction of the arrow, and you’ll find the restaurant on your left!

As you approach, a charming blue bus and elegant tents come into view — your heart starts racing with anticipation!

The blue bus is currently being renovated to become an additional dining space 🚌💨
We can’t wait to see it open — looking forward to it (^^)

And outside, you’ll find glamping-style tents right here…

And another one over here — two glamping tents in total!

I peeked inside ♪ During the colder months, they even provide heaters!

Groups of 3 or more can be seated in these tent areas!
You get a fun glamping vibe — perfect for a memorable meal! ⛺

There are also three lovely terrace seats available!

Dining while gazing at the garden is such a luxurious treat 🍃🌱

For my lunch visit, the hours were:
11:30 AM – 2:00 PM (last order at 1:30 PM).
I recommend arriving early!

Now, let’s step inside ♪

Near the entrance, you’ll find house-made frozen hamburger steaks and dressings for sale…

They also sell coffee beans!
Perfect for picking up a souvenir to enjoy at home after your meal!

And here’s the table seating area in the back.
Screen partitions provide a sense of privacy and comfort!

Here’s the lunch menu ✩.*˚

Domestic Fillet Mignon with Rock Salt – 2,480 yen!
Sounds rich and delicious (ﾟ∀ﾟ)

And there’s also a hamburger steak and crab gratin set, which looks incredibly hearty!

Other options include chicken steak…

…tomato sauce pasta, roast beef rice bowl, and many more Western-style dishes!

Plus a café salad set, drinks, and sweets menu ✩.*˚

The takeout selection is impressive too (^^)

You can also grab a variety of frozen dishes to take home — a real lifesaver for busy folks!

LittleGarden Recommended Menu

This time, I ordered the Tender Horse Cheek Omurice for 1,680 yen
and Curry Doria for 1,480 yen ♪
(Both come with a prosciutto salad, soup, and drink as a set!)

First up — the prosciutto salad ★
A generous mountain of julienned daikon radish makes this a substantial salad! 🌸

The dressing is so tasty that the crisp daikon disappears in no time!

With lotus root, sweet potato chips, cheese, muscat grapes, and citrus fruits as toppings,
this luxurious salad will lift your spirits 😍

Next, the rich and creamy corn soup.
Generous portion and absolutely delicious ♪

And here it is — the Tender Horse Cheek Omurice!!!
It comes on a huge plate (ﾟ∀ﾟ)

Packed with chunks of horse meat 🐴

And true to its name, the meat melts apart “horohoro” tender (^O^)
Slow-simmered for 30 hours — a truly handcrafted dish!

The sauce is unique — not your typical demi-glace,
but something with a delicate plum-like tartness ♪

And here’s the Curry Doria ★
Hot hamburger steak, melty cheese, and curry — a delicious harmony of three flavors! ＼(^o^)／

A big juicy hamburger is hiding right in the center 👀💕 Can you spot it?

The hearty hamburger is packed with flavor and so satisfying!!!

To finish, we enjoyed the set drinks — coffee and tea ♪

Both dishes were generously portioned and left us completely satisfied!

Highly recommended for the warmer seasons ahead.
