Welcome to Cafe & Izakaya R
Hello, fellow travelers!
I’m Igaguri, a writer with Sarukuma 🌰
Today I’m excited to introduce you to a hidden local gem located in Tsukiji, Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture:
Cafe & Izakaya R.

Did you know about this place?
It’s conveniently located right across from the “Nafco Tamana” home center! (^^♪

I forgot to snap a photo of the parking lot (sorry!), but there’s plenty of space — 12 parking spots available for guests driving in.

Today’s lunch special: crispy Japanese-style fried chicken (karaage) and menchi-katsu (breaded ground meat cutlet)!
If you’re bringing baby food for little ones, just let the staff know — they’re happy to accommodate.

Seating is traditional Japanese-style — you’ll take off your shoes at the entrance before stepping up to your table. A wonderful chance to experience authentic Japanese dining culture!

The seating areas are partitioned with fabric dividers, giving you a cozy, private-room feel while you dine (^^♪
