About IN・TO COFFEE STAND HAMASENstore

Hello, travelers! This is Aikero, writer for Sarukuma.

Today I’m introducing a wonderful café tucked away in Ezu-machi, Higashi-ku, Kumamoto City:
IN・TO COFFEE STAND HAMASENstore. The café has two locations: one on basement floor 1 of Sakura Machi Kumamoto in Chuo Ward, and this Higashi Ward location we’re visiting today.
A former branch in Nishi Ward has since closed.

Heads up: Google Maps still lists the former Nishi Ward location as IN・TO COFFEE STAND, but it has since become Katete Kumamoto Nishi-ku Store, so don’t be confused (^^)/

“Oh, that signboard! I’ve definitely seen this before!”
I drive down this road often, so this place had been on my radar for ages♫

Ninjin House is also nearby (^^)/

There’s a roomy parking lot here, so it’s super easy to pull in♫
The exterior doesn’t give it away, but the interior is full of warm wooden touches.
No flashy decorations — just a clean, simple space.

I’d call it a “minimalist café” vibe.
Apparently this kind of pared-back simplicity is exactly what makes it perfect for #photoshoot enthusiasts! (I had to look that one up — I’m not great at keeping up with trends.)
The shadows from the indoor plants add the perfect aesthetic touch.
There’s also comfy sofa seating♫

If anyone asked me where I’d want to sit, the fluffy sofa wins every time! They also sell coffee beans, so if a particular roast wins your heart, you can take some home — they make a thoughtful souvenir, too! Here’s the menu at IN・TO COFFEE STAND HAMASENstore.
Note that menus differ between branches, so use this as a general reference (^^)/

IN・TO COFFEE STAND HAMASENstore Recommended Menu

Ta-da!
I ordered a Chocolate Latte and the Basque Cheesecake!

If you’re getting coffee, sweets are an absolute must (●^o^●)Look at that adorable latte art♡
The rich aroma of chocolate paired with the slightly bitter espresso scent is just heavenly!
The gently sweet chocolate latte is exactly what you want on a cold day — it warms you from the inside out!#PhotoSession

Even casual snapshots come out looking stylish! (Just a humble shot, but I had to share it♫)I LOVE Basque cheesecake!
Every shop puts their own spin on it, so I can never resist ordering it whenever I see it on a menu♫

This one had a deep, satisfying cheese flavor without being heavy at all.
Moist, smooth, and absolutely delicious (^^)I’d often noticed the parking lot full on weekends and holidays, and now I understand why.
The quiet, refined interior offered the perfect spot to take a deep breath and savor a peaceful café break (●^o^●)

If you’re heading to YouMe Town Hamasen or AEON Mall Kumamoto, you’ll likely pass right by!
Whether you’re winding down after a day out, looking for a midday coffee escape, or hunting for the perfect aesthetic café photo, this place is well worth a visit♫
