Introducing zakka & cafe KASHU Kashu (かしゅう)

Today I’m introducing you to
“zakka & cafe KASHU Kashu (かしゅう)”,
located in Shimorokka, Kashima Town, Kamimashiki District, Kumamoto Prefecture.

I’d been eyeing that “crepe” flag every time I drove past, so when my son had a day off, I jumped at the chance and headed over.

The parking lot is right in front of the shop.

You can dine in at Kashu, but since I was getting takeout,
I decided to enjoy my order at the outdoor terrace seating.

For takeout customers, there’s a convenient pickup window outside, so you can grab your order without leaving the terrace.

The menu has so many options.
From Napolitan pasta (580 yen) to thick-cut toast (580 yen) and more,
every dish makes you want to come back for a proper meal next time.

This is Kashu’s takeout menu.

Beyond crepes, you can also pick up light meals and tapioca drinks.
A perfect way to round off lunch with a sweet finish!

Recommended Menu at zakka & cafe KASHU Kashu (かしゅう)

This time, I went for a crepe (400 yen):
・Strawberry Chocolate Banana

The moment I received it, the volume blew me away — way bigger than I imagined!

Fresh banana and strawberries are layered on top.
Marshmallows and other sweet treats join the party, turning the top of the crepe into a luxurious flavor orchestra.

As you bite in, you’ll find even more strawberries and bananas tucked inside,
so you can enjoy the perfect harmony of whipped cream and fresh fruit right down to the last bite.

For under 500 yen, this generously stuffed crepe is incredible value.
Kids will love it for sure, but adults will be amazed too.

Every flavor is just 400 yen — such a great deal!
It’s also perfect for sharing with friends.
