Introducing Boulogne no Mori Hakusan

ready to devour an entire bag of candy in one sitting!

Today I’m introducing
“Boulogne no Mori Hakusan”,
located in Okada-machi, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture.

The shop sits along Hakusan-dori Street.
There are lots of buildings around, so keep your eyes peeled as you approach!

There are about 2 parking spaces in front of the shop!

Ta-da!

Just look at this dazzling display inside the shop.

The first thing that caught my eye — a guaranteed winner —
Fig Tart: 498 yen

Drawn in by the words “revived after 8 years” —
Earl Grey Chocolat: 380 yen

How did this even come to be?!
Luxury Strawberry Tart: 600 yen

The most adorable little face —
Beret Bear-chan: 378 yen

The perfect solo-celebration cake —
Anniversary: 756 yen

And there’s an overwhelming variety of whole cakes too!

I was tempted by the cookie cream puffs and fresh pies as well.

They also offer signature cream puffs (Aisu Shu) and Juhyo cakes.

The selection of baked sweets is impressive too.

Picking just one is incredibly hard…

Recommended Menu at Boulogne no Mori Hakusan

This time I tried
Cerises: 432 yen!!

That gorgeous appearance is simply beyond words.

It looks too delicious, so
I’m giving it my full focus!

The tangy-sweet zing and gentle sweetness
turned my mouth into an opera house.

The berry tartness is wonderfully refreshing and absolutely delicious.
The tart crust is delightfully crisp — exactly how I like it —
and the sweetness is just right, so you can polish it off even after a full meal.

Every cake here is gorgeous to look at and impossible to resist.
