a charming little cafe located in Minamiaso Village, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture:
“galette”.

For my visit, I ordered the Dessert Plate Set for 700 yen.

For my drink, I went with peach tea 😉

The decadent, sweet gateau au chocolat paired beautifully
with the refreshingly light vanilla ice cream —
before I knew it, I was happily alternating between bites! ♡(ϋ)

I worried at first that ordering the chocolat framboise
alongside the gateau au chocolat would be “too much chocolate,”
but it disappeared in no time! (´⊙ω⊙`)

That sweet-and-tart flavor was absolutely irresistible!

I picked my dessert from this menu ♡

For this price including a drink, it’s a real bargain! ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

Every option looked so delicious that
deciding what to order was the hardest part…

The cafe also offers adorable colorful children’s chairs to borrow,
so families can relax and enjoy their meal with peace of mind ✫

They’re the secure type that little ones can’t easily slip out of!

From the entrance to your table, every inch of this space is photogenic ♡

It’s just so cute — seriously, SO cute!!

It feels like stepping into a theme park or a photo studio ♡

With its secret-hideout vibe, it’s a place that delights
not just kids but grown-ups too! ♡

You can also step out into this lovely courtyard.

The colorful flags fluttering against the blue sky are simply adorable ♡

I dropped by for an afternoon snack this time,
but as the cafe’s name suggests, you can also enjoy savory galettes for lunch!

Note that reservations aren’t accepted, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time
when planning your visit ☆
