About the Shop
Hello, travelers!
This is Binako, your Sarukuma writer — currently a bit nervous because my car has been making strange noises lately!
Today I’m excited to introduce you to a charming sweets shop located in Miyoshi, Koshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture:
“Kashi Kobo Blue Bee”.

The exterior has such a lovely European-style charm that it makes you want to dress up in a fluffy skirt for the visit (*´Д`)
…not that I own one!

There’s a spacious parking lot right next to the shop with room for about 5–6 cars — super convenient!

What makes this place so unique? Inside, you’ll find a delightful mix — it’s a Western-style cake shop that also sells traditional Japanese manju (sweet buns)!
The most popular Japanese sweet here is the Kokuto Hitokuchi Manju (bite-sized brown sugar buns) ♪

And there are FREE samples!!!
Watch out — it’s easy to overindulge!
But having tasting samples is such a wonderful treat for visitors.

The display case was beautifully filled with a wide variety of cakes ♪

The classics include:
Pure Cream Roll Cake — 220 yen
Soft Soufflé Roll — 250 yen
Strawberry Mont Blanc — 380 yen
Tiramisu — 380 yen

I also spotted a unique-looking treat I’d never seen before:
Cream Puff (Shu Cream) — 130 yen!!
It looked so elegant — almost too gorgeous to eat ♪

And here are Blue Bee’s signature stars:
Cheesecake “Kohaku” (Amber) — 340 yen
Cheesecake “Kohaku” Mikan (Mandarin Orange) — 350 yen
Recommended Menu
This time I tried the
Cheesecake “Kohaku” — 340 yen!!
The little bee stamp on top is absolutely adorable, and the glossy finish made me even hungrier just looking at it!

Whoosh — pillowy soft!

Fluffy, moist, and absolutely delicious!
The texture is incredibly light and easy to eat. The rich aroma of cheese fills your mouth, and the way it gently melts on your tongue takes the flavor to the next level ♪
There’s also an eat-in space inside the shop, though availability may vary depending on current conditions.
