Today, I’m excited to introduce you to Madeleine, a charming cake shop located in Goryo, Higashi Ward, Kumamoto City.

This long-established bakery has caught my eye for years — it’s a spacious, well-loved cake shop in the area!

The parking lot is right next to the shop — just look for the Madeleine sign and park there!

And every single one is adorable!
With so many cute sweets lined up, choosing one becomes part of the fun!

Here’s something you don’t usually see at a cake shop —
Tofu Pudding (Douhua) for 480 yen! A delightful Asian-inspired dessert option.

There’s also a wonderful selection of baked goods and traditional Japanese-style sweets!

The treats here make perfect souvenirs and gifts — anyone who receives them is sure to be thrilled!

Whole cakes are also available, so you can order birthday cakes or special-occasion cakes too!

They even have popcorn — a fun treat that kids absolutely love!

This time, I tried the
Strawberry Mousse — 450 yen

Out of all the cakes, this little one was calling my name!!

Ohhhh wow!!
The light, refreshing mousse is absolutely incredible!
It’s not too sweet, and the texture is silky-smooth perfection!

And then — surprise! Strawberry jam hidden inside!
What is this?!
What kind of delightful reward is this?!

The tartness of the jam adds a whole new dimension and makes every bite even easier to enjoy!
The flavor evolves so beautifully you could keep eating forever without getting tired of it!

This cake isn’t just a feast for the eyes — the taste is absolutely outstanding. I’m totally won over!

The staff were also incredibly polite and warm-hearted!
