I’ve been wanting to visit for ages, and I finally made it!

The shop is tucked along Oaks Street (Oaks-dori).

‘The exterior is SO cute!’

I was excited before I even stepped inside.

Now, let’s head in — GO! GO!!!!

The display case is filled with
rows and rows of beautiful donuts 😍

Just looking at them makes you happy ❤️

Let me walk you through them 😀

First up, take a look at these:

on this particular day there were three kinds!!

I only realized when I looked back at my photos at home 😅

With donuts this cute, kids are guaranteed to love them!

The concept behind Hara Donuts is simple:

Every bite is meant to bring back nostalgic memories of mom’s homemade cooking 😁

Made with okara (soy pulp) and soy milk,
it’s wonderfully light and healthy!

And right next to it,
the Specialty Hara Donut

This one contains no eggs and no butter!
Who knew you could make donuts without eggs or butter? Mind blown 🤩

Marron (Chestnut) Fluffy chestnut blended with soy milk —
like a Mont Blanc in donut form 🍩

Tanba Black Soybean Kinako
Made with kinako (roasted soybean flour) from Tanba, the king of Japanese soybeans 🍩

Sugar Cane
A mineral-rich donut made with powdered sugar from Okinawan sugar cane 🍩

Specially Grown Cinnamon
A donut where premium specially grown cinnamon truly shines 🍩

Berry White
Topped with dried fruit — as pretty to look at as it is to eat 🍩

They’re crisp and crunchy with none of that dry, crumbly okara texture — really delicious 🌟

The sugar cane sweetness isn’t overpowering at all —
it has this lovely, nostalgic flavor 🍩

Just like the concept promises: it tastes like the donuts mom used to make!
The smell brought me right back to childhood frying days 🥰

And here we have the Chocolate and Kuroneko (Black Cat)

Surprise twist — both are chocolate! 🍫

For the chilled donuts,
they’ll bring you out a perfectly cold one when you order 🥰

When picking, I always end up reaching for my favorites,
so flavor overlap happens often 😅

The Kuroneko has almonds tucked into the “ears” —
a cute little bonus that made me smile 😂
Eaten chilled, the topping turns crisp and pairs beautifully with the dough 😊
