Today, I’m excited to introduce you to
“Süddeutsche Pan Biggy”,
a charming bakery located in Obiyama, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City.

This is the place to go for authentic Southern German bread in Kumamoto! ^^

Convenient parking is available right in front of the shop!
I love the German flag displayed on the sign — such a nice touch! ★

Inside, you’ll find a wonderful variety of breads —
many of which I’d never seen before, making the whole experience truly exciting! ♪

The bread on the left is filled with sausage — a perennial favorite with kids! ^^

The one in the middle is generously topped with cheese,
making it perfect for a satisfying lunch (*´ω｀*)

And the one on the right is shaped like an adorable little pig, aptly named
The Lucky Pig Bread (Glücksschwein)
!

The name alone makes you want to grab one!

You’ll also find breads made with sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.
Many loaves are crafted with rye flour,
making them a wholesome and nourishing choice.

absolutely incredible!!!

The Deutscher Croissant is quite different from the typical croissant —
fragrant and delightfully crispy, perfect alongside a warm bowl of soup (*´Д｀)

The inside is wonderfully moist with rich flavor.
It’s hearty and filling — perfect as a main dish!

The Müsliwecken is generously topped with sunflower seeds,
and the dough itself is made with rye flour.

The seeds add such a satisfying crunch,
and the toasted aroma that fills your senses is simply incredible!
