About Kirara Nishi Park

Today I’m introducing a hidden gem in Matsubase, Uki City:
[Kirara Nishi Park].Hoshino Coffee Matsubase and Nishimatsuya Matsubase are both nearby, making it easy to combine your visit with a coffee break or some shopping.

The surroundings are wonderfully quiet — we even spotted a few people pulled over on the roadside taking a peaceful break.
There’s no dedicated parking lot, and the park itself is small — just a stone monument and one large play structure.
A gentle, easy-going slide.

It’s wide enough that two little ones can slide down side by side — perfect for siblings or friends!
There’s also a fun spiral slide.
A big steering wheel kept my daughter completely absorbed for ages! ♪
There are also climbing chains and a mini jungle gym to scramble up and down.

Even though it’s just one play structure, it offers plenty of variety for little kids — and because the whole park is compact, you can keep an eye on them at all times. A truly stress-free spot for parents! ♪

Why We Recommend Kirara Nishi Park

A small bridge leads out from the park.
The river below is narrow but does have flowing water, and the bridge sits at a noticeable height — please take care, especially with little ones!
Cross the bridge and you’ll find a lovely riverside embankment, perfect for a leisurely stroll ♪

Looking down over the park from the embankment, time seems to slow to a peaceful crawl.
We even saw locals out walking their dogs — a wonderfully relaxed neighborhood vibe.

The park also has a covered bench, and we enjoyed a picnic lunch there.
A 7-Eleven and Nishimatsuya are both within walking distance, so why not pick up some snacks and drinks before heading over for a relaxed afternoon? ♪
