Ikeda 2-chome Nishi Park.

Look — bamboo shoot monuments?! Yes, Ikeda 2-chome Nishi Park is famous for its quirky stone bamboo shoots scattered around the entrance.
Maybe this area was once known for harvesting bamboo shoots…?

The restroom sits in the middle of the park. It’s an older-style facility but kept clean and tidy.

There’s a covered rest area too, perfect for escaping the sun on a hot day. (^^)

A hand-washing station is right next to it.

There’s no vending machine inside the park, but you’ll find a bento shop and vending machines just a 2–3 minute walk away. (^^)

About 5 minutes by car, you’ll find Chouchou Maeda Shoten, which we’ve featured before — a stylish greengrocer with amazing fresh-fruit smoothies and Instagram-worthy fruit sandwiches. Grab a takeout treat and turn the park into your own outdoor café!
