Good news for road-trippers — the parking lot here also accommodates campers and RVs for overnight stays (^^)
Right beside the management building, you’ll find vending machines.
During Japan’s hot summer months, you can never have too many drinks — so this is a real lifesaver (^-^)v

Why We Recommend Mizube Plaza Kamoto Kinasse
For our trip, we stayed in the spacious two-story type!
The genkan (entryway) is roomy with plenty of space for everyone’s shoes!
There’s a simple kitchenette, but please note that full cooking inside the room is not permitted (to keep odors from lingering).
A microwave and electric kettle are available, so you can easily prepare simple meals or hot drinks (^^)
The first-floor room has a TV, which quickly became a favorite play area for the kids (*^.^*)
The private onsen bath is generously sized — large enough for many people to soak together!
The kids had an absolute blast bathing all together (^-^)v
Just contact the front desk and they’ll fill the bath for you — available from 6:00 AM until 23:00.
Our kids even enjoyed an early morning soak (^^)
The staircase to the second floor is right next to the kitchenette (^-^)v
Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious traditional Japanese washitsu (tatami room)!
Even the futon storage closet is roomy enough to double as a kids’ hideout (^3^)/
The bathroom is also nice and spacious.
For dinner, we rented a charcoal BBQ set (bringing our own ingredients) and grilled out on the grassy area beside the parking lot (^3^)/
After BBQ and a relaxing onsen soak, we capped off the night with sparkler fireworks (hanabi) — a quintessential Japanese summer experience!
There’s also a small stream nearby for splashing and water play, which kids absolutely love (sadly, the weather wasn’t cooperative during our stay!).
Although we didn’t cover it in detail this time, you can easily walk over to the Michi-no-Eki Mizube Plaza Kamoto facilities, which include a large public bath, a local products market, a bakery, and even a ramen shop — so you’ll never go hungry (^^)
Whether you’re traveling as a family or with a group of family friends, Mizube Plaza Kamoto Kinasse offers room types to suit any group size. We highly, highly recommend it (o^O^o)
