Today, I’m taking you to a hidden gem in Musashigaoka, Kita Ward of Kumamoto City —
SORAHIRO FIKA.

So, what exactly is FIKA? It’s a beloved Swedish tradition of pausing for coffee and a light snack with the people who matter most to you — a moment to breathe, chat, and simply enjoy being together.

SORAHIRO FIKA opened in November 2022 with a beautiful mission: to create a space where coffee and sweets bring warmth, connect people, and stir the heart. ☺️

Their motto? “Let’s FIKA!” — a friendly invitation to drop in anytime. 😊✨

The café can be a little tricky to find at first. Heading toward JR Musashizuka Station, look for a building housing an orthopedic clinic just before the station — turn left there.

Continue a bit further and you’ll spot the café’s parking lot. ✨

The colorful parking area is impossible to miss once you turn the corner. 🍀

There are 3 parking spaces directly in front of the café,
plus 4 more numbered spaces just across the road. ✨

There’s even a second parking lot a little further down the road, so finding a spot is never a problem. 😌

The interior features Scandinavian design with an open, airy feel — those signature blue accents really pop against the bright space. 🌟✨

There’s also a private room in the back, available for groups of 4 or more by reservation. Walk-ins may also be accommodated if a room is free on the day. 😊

Inside the back private room, there’s even a diaper-changing bed — perfect for parents traveling with little ones. 😌
