Introducing CO-NA Agepan Specialty Shop
Hello, this is Mofumofu, writer for [Sarukuma].
Today I’m introducing a wonderful little spot in Shiranui-machi, Uki City
[CO-NA Agepan Specialty Shop].
π· Grand Opening: Friday, April 14, 2023 π·
Congratulations!π₯°β¨
I’d been checking their Instagram for weeks thinking, “Is it open yet? Is it open yet?!”
CO-NA Agepan Specialty Shop is a charmingly simple container-style shop!
There are stairs at the entrance, so if you’re visiting with little ones, carrying them is recommended.
Parking is right in front of the shop, with space for 3-4 cars π

CO-NA is located along Ukiuki Road, but it’s a mountain road with no traffic lights, so it’s easy to pick up speed and zoom right past β I drove by once before realizing! (laughs)
Keep your eyes peeled for the “Agetate desu” (Just-Fried!) sign πβ¨

Searching by address on Google Maps won’t bring it up, so please use the map below π
CO-NA closes once they sell out, so sending a DM on Instagram to reserve in advance is a great idea π

The interior is super stylish β¨
It comfortably fits about two adults, so if customers are already inside, just wait quietly outside π

If you’re buying as a souvenir, paper bags are available!
They hold about 8 pieces and cost Β₯50 each π
Normally they pop your order into a plastic bag for free, so no need to bring your own bag π±
CO-NA Agepan Specialty Shop β Recommended Menu

[Agepan Menu]
Kibito (brown sugar) β Β₯180
Kinako (roasted soybean flour) β Β₯180
Koshian (smooth red bean paste) β Β₯200
Cinnamon β Β₯200
I would have loved to buy them all, but I’m not a fan of cinnamon, so I went with kibito, kinako, and koshian ππ

The flavor names are written on the bottom of each bag, making it easy to tell which is which!
Even after some time, they stay fluffy and chewy β absolutely delicious π

Generously filled with anko π The sweetness is gentle and not heavy at all β really easy to enjoy βͺ
I ate the kinako one in the car and forgot to take a photo afterward… (The main photo at the top is the kinako one!)

(Eating these in the car will make a real mess of your seats! laughs)
If you take some home and they cool down:
β Microwave for about 20 seconds
β‘ Toast the surface for about 1β1.5 minutes
You’ll get that just-fried texture again β fluffy inside, crispy outside π
By the way!
“CO-NA Agepan Specialty Shop” is also active as part of Uki City’s Regional Revitalization Cooperation Team π€²β¨
Working hard to liven up Uki City β how wonderful is that π₯Ί
Be sure to stop by CO-NA Agepan Specialty Shop on your next trip π·
