Today I’m taking you to
Kuwamizu, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City,
to a lovely little spot called Kyozukakami Park!

You’ll find the park right near the Max Valu Kuwamizu supermarket!

It’s also a short walk from Patisserie Frevent, a charming cake shop previously featured by fellow Sarukuma writer Ayu Mama (*’ω’*)

There’s one simple restroom on site.

And a handy drinking fountain and handwashing area too!

You’ll find a few benches scattered around — perfect for taking a breather.

During my visit, beautiful daffodils 🌼 were blooming throughout the park.

Even on a chilly winter day, the sight of fresh flowers really brightens your mood ♪

Why You’ll Love Kyozukakami Park

Here’s the playground! First up — the slide!

The playground is surrounded by tall, leafy trees.
In summer, they must provide wonderful shade for little ones (*´ω｀*)

The park gets plenty of sunshine, so it stayed lovely and warm even in winter 🌞

Right next to the playground sits a generous, open lawn area.
It’s wonderfully tidy — no weeds in sight — and feels great to relax on (≧▽≦)

With a supermarket and bento shop nearby, why not pop in while you’re out running errands?
It’s the perfect quick stop for a sunny break! 🎵
