Today I’m excited to introduce you to a delightful local gem,
located in Shinyashiki, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto City,
Suidobata Park!

You’ll find this peaceful spot near Shirakawa Junior High School, conveniently located right across from
Miyanomoto Park, which we’ve also featured on SaruKuma (*^▽^*)

Here’s the restroom! Please note it features a traditional Japanese-style squat toilet (>_<)

And here’s the drinking fountain and hand-washing station — perfect for cooling off or freshening up!

There’s one covered bench, perfect for taking a break in the shade.

You’ll also find several regular benches scattered throughout the park!

Highlights & Recommendations

For playground equipment, you’ll discover a toddler-friendly slide, perfect for the little ones!

And a wider slide for bigger kids to enjoy!

There are swings too!

Plus horizontal bars!

And don’t miss the spring-rider play equipment!
It fits up to three kids at once — great for siblings or new friends ☆

Right next to the playground area, there’s also a wide open space for running around and games (*^▽^*)

Tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood just off the main road, this park offers a peaceful escape from the city bustle,
and it has become a beloved community gathering spot for locals walking their dogs ♪
