Today I’m excited to introduce you to a wonderful local spot located in Gyokuto Town, Tamana District, Kumamoto Prefecture:
“Yume Station Konoha”

Located right in front of Konoha Station, this is the place where all of Gyokuto’s deliciousness comes together＼(^o^)／

Farmers’ Market Corner: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Restaurant: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Last Order 1:30 PM)

Parking is plentiful, with plenty of spaces right alongside the Yume Station Konoha building (^-^)

At the entrance, you’ll find hand sanitizer and an introduction to their Instagram account (^^)

Fresh AND affordable!!!

They sell rice too.

And a charming variety of handmade goods (^-^)v

From the sun-drenched table seats, you can even watch the trains roll by — a lovely touch (^-^)v

Out front, there’s a plaza area with tables and chairs.
On a sunny, warm day, dining outside here is absolutely delightful (^-^)

And the 100-yen vending machine is a budget traveler’s best friend (^з^)-☆

And at night, they even light up the place with illuminations☆

Recommended Menu

This time, I tried the Oshiruko (Sweet Red Bean Soup) — 150 yen.
As a bonus, I also got a Gyokuto dekopon citrus on the side (^-^)

In this season, a warm and comforting bowl of oshiruko is simply the best (^q^)
The sweetness is perfectly balanced — not too rich, not too light (^з^)-☆
The chewy shiratama (rice flour dumplings) are soft and absolutely delicious~

Hamburger Steak Lunch — 700 yen
Karaage (Fried Chicken) Lunch — 700 yen
Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet) Lunch — 700 yen
Combi Fry Lunch — 700 yen
The above all come with rice, soup, and coffee.

Curry Lunch — 500 yen
Katsu Curry Lunch — 700 yen
The curry lunches come with a salad.

Coffee included after the meal at this price — what a steal! (^-^)v
