Hello there!

I bought some candy and was surprised at how much sweeter it was than expected.
This is Binako, writer for Sarukuma.

Today, I’d like to introduce you to
a delightful spot in Suizenji, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City,
“FRENKY (Frankie)”.

FRENKY is conveniently located right inside Suizenji Station!

Here we are! It’s been a while since my last visit~

By the way, there’s a parking lot with 20 minutes free,
so feel free to use that for a quick visit.

Now, up the stairs we go!

Right at the top of the stairs, on your left,
you’ll find FRENKY waiting for you.

Here’s a peek at the menu:
Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte – 480 yen
Taiwanese Honey Lemon – 420 yen
Taro Milk – 450 yen
Tieguanyin Cheese Tea – 480 yen
The menu is full of unique drinks I’d never seen before,
and they all happen to be exactly my style — I wanted to order every single one!

They also serve chai!
I absolutely adore chai, so this caught my eye too.But the real reason I came today was for this:
Taro Milk – 450 yen
Let’s give it a try!

As a huge fan of root vegetables, I loved the rich taro flavor
and gentle sweetness — totally hooked!
The creamy depth and sweetness had my taste buds dancing with joy.

I had planned to sip slowly so I wouldn’t fill up too quickly,
but before I knew it, the cup was empty.
It was that good!

Next time, I want to try the other flavors too.

If you’re visiting Kumamoto, definitely give FRENKY a try — you won’t regret it!
