Hello, travelers! It’s Rennyu here.

Today I’m introducing
“Eto Boat”,
located in Ezu, Higashi Ward, Kumamoto City.

This time we’d been playing in another part of Lake Ezu, so we walked over from a parking lot a bit further away.

When you think of boating on Lake Ezu, isn’t this the place that comes to mind for most people? ☺︎

Even as an adult, it still gets me excited!

As you can see, you can paddle around quite a wide area.

This time, since our child wasn’t yet two years old, we couldn’t actually ride a boat (T_T).

We’ll have to try again next year!

So this time we visited the cafe instead.

Looks like you can also have a BBQ here! ✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧
(BBQ requires advance reservation!)

Wait — you can do fireworks here too?!

There aren’t many places where everyone can casually enjoy fireworks and BBQ together, so this is wonderful! ♡

It’s apparently used for school club celebrations and similar gatherings.

The kids absolutely love it (*´ω｀*)

Being able to unwind in a place like this is just the best.
It’s so easy to lose track of time.

There are also these whimsical, fairytale-like spots! ♡

Hand soap is provided too, which is reassuring.

There are restrooms and washing areas too! ♪

The women’s restroom uses Western-style toilets ☆

And there’s even a Kids SET that comes with a toy!

This time, I tried the Boat House Premium Soft Serve (¥380)!

Made with plenty of fresh milk, it was incredibly rich and creamy (•ө•) ♡

It tastes exactly like soft serve from a proper specialty shop (´∩｡• ᵕ •｡∩`)

The kids loved it too! ♡

After a day of playing around Lake Ezu, why not stop by for lunch or a quick break?
